Fender Japan 1990 TL52-900

1990 Fender Japan TL52-900 blonde blackguard telecaster

Matching numbers with papers!
I dunno … always sounds good with cars but this came with (of course) one of those ridiculous leatherette gig bags that the Japanese seem to go fucking nuts over & in the side pocket apart from there being 2 old strings, a term bar for a strat (which I needed) and an aluminium stop tailpiece for a Les Paul (which I can always use) there was of course these receipt 7 warranty card books which was a nice surprise.
Obviously being 20 years old the warranty had expired but still it was pretty cool.
This one was very blonde and not much butterscotch going on.
Pretty light and of course there was some lacquer burn on the bottom edge but overall …. nothing pants splittingly exciting really while at the same time though being high quality Japanese crafted.
*UPDATE* sold

Burny FLG-90 VOBS Les Paul ’77

1977 Burny FLG-90 VOBS

Yep that’s the original finish.
I believe it means something like Vintage Orange Burnt Sunburst …. or something along those lines.
Unfortunately I sold this to some idiot in America who after buying it via the mylespaul.com forum then proceeded to talk utter bullshit all over that shitkicker tokai forum about this that & the other.Only an idiot can’t tell the difference between having multiple tuners & the imprints left by grovers. You reading this dickhead?Go fuck yourself you lying fucking cunt

For Sale: Burny Les Paul Junior RTV-80?

Anyone considering buying a Burny les Paul Junior …. do it.
This is the first one I got some sort of late 80s/early 90s thing.Very light though but great neck.
I’m forever in this balancing act with Japanese made guitars.Fit,finish & necks are just fantastic but the tradeoff seems to be they’re generally light … unless yer rockin a Burny custom in the double digit LBS’
Eventually let this one go when I encountered upon a 75 Burny FTV.Much much much more solid feeling, nicer neck and nitro finish.
I do one day think I may try out the Greco junior but between you and me I’m not so much a fan of the finish they had in the 80s.
